The real mochila hand-woven by Guajiro women in Colombia!
This brand was born from a journey, and an encounter with the Mochila. Widely spread in Colombia and more generally in Latin America, mochila is very much appreciated for what it represents, its history and originality.
It is called “susu” in the language of the Arhuacos, the original tribe of the mochilas, which means “who walks with you”.
In order to disseminate this Colombian know-how, Lahoja wanted to link it with Parisian aesthetics.
Their creations are imagined by Lahoja then woven in Colombia by the guarijos. They collaborate with a cooperative of about 400 seamstresses from Guarija, an arid peninsula on the border between Colombia and Venezuela.
